Its Christmas Time and we keep thinking of the very Special cake to prepare for your family and friends. Here I am going to give you a few simple yet wonderful cake recipes. Hope you like them.

So here is the first cake recipe - White Chocolate and Passion Fruit Cake
Ingredients
-> White Chocolate - 125g
-> Warm water - 1/2 cup
-> Butter - 125 g
-> Sugar Powdered - 200g
> Egg - 2
-> Sour Cream - 1/2 cup
-> Maida - 200g
-> Baking powder - 1 tsp
-> Self Raising flour - 75g
For icing
-> Powdered Sugar - 200g
-> Passion fruit juice - 5 tbsp
-> Satless butter - 250g
-> White chocolate
METHOD
1) Preheat oven to 350 F.
2) Melt white butter by double boiling. Add 1/2 cup warm water and mix and allow to cool.
3) Beat together butter and powdered sugar. Add eggs one by one and mix.
4) Add in chocolate, cream, maida + baking powder (sieved) . Mix well.
5) Bake in 2 greased lining paper set cake trays.
6) For icing: add 50g sugar to 1/2 cup water and boil. Stir and boil till all of the sugar dissolves. Simmer and keep for 20 minutes.
7) Remove from fire and allow to cool. Add 2tbsp passion fruit juice.
8) Add 150g Powdered sugar to 1/4 cup water and mix on low flame till it dissolves.
9) Remove from fire and allow to cool and add the balance passion fruit juice along with a few seeds.
10) Beat butter and add this syrup and mix well.
11) Pour this above while still warm onto the baked cake. Apply the icing in a thin layer.
12) Place the second cake above this and do as abv.
13) Serve garnished with chocolate curls.
