INGREDIENTS
* 1 chicken - cut into pieces
* White butter - 3 tbsp
* Hot water - 1/2 cup
* Almonds - 15 finely ground
* cream- 2 tbsp
For Marination:
* Coriander leaves - 1 cup finely chopped
* Mint leaves - 1/2 cup chopped
* Black pepper powder - 2 tsp
* White Pepper powder - 2 tsp
* Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
* Thick curd whisked till smooth - 200gm (3/4 cup)
Paste:
* Onion - 4
* Ginger - 2"piece
* Garlic - 10 cloves
Garnish:
* Almonds - 15 shredded
METHOD
1) Combine the ingredients for the marinade. Rub into the chicken and allow to marinate for 1 hour.
2) Heat butter in a pan. Add onion paste, stir and fry for a few minutes.
3) Add marinated chicken and fry, stirring occasionally and gradually sprinkling in hot water.Cover pan and cook it almost done.
4) Mix in ground almonds and cook on low heat till chicken is tender.
5) Stir in cream and continue to cook on low heat for a few minutes.
6) Pour into a serving bowl and garnish with almonds.
