MIXED VEGETABLE PULAO

INGREDIENTS

* Basmati rice - 250 gm
* Peas - 100gm
* Carrots - 75gm
* French beans - 75 gm
* Cinnamon - 2 pieces
* Cardamoms - 4
* Cloves - 6
* Bay leaves - 2
* Cumin seeds -1 tsp
* Vanaspati - 60 gm
* Salt-to taste
* Water - 250ml

METHODS

1) Heat vanaspati (or oil).
2) Add cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves and cumin.
3) Add cut vegetables and peas and fry for 2-3 minute.
4) Add the washed rice and salt and fry for 1 min.
5) Add water.
6) Allow to cook.
