AFGHANI CHICKEN (Varaiation 2)

INGREDIENTS

* Chicken - 1
* Onion -6

* Garlic -7 cloves
* Ginger - 2 inch piece
* Green chili- 2 or 3
* Coriander powder -3 tsp
* Red chilli powder -2 tsp
* Jeera Powder - 3 tsp
* Elaichi - 3
* Cashewnut - 10-15
* Salt - to taste
* Milk - 1/4 cup
* Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp

METHOD

1) Chop 5 onions and saute then will dark golden brown.Allow it to cool.
2) In the meanwhile, grind garlic, ginger, green chilli, cashewnut, elaichi, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and jeera powder together in a mixie to form a paste.
3) Grind the sauted onion and the above mix to form a thick paste.
4) Take a little of the paste and salt and apply it on the chicken. Fry the chicken pieces in oil.
5) Pour the remaining paste into a pan with oil. Keep on high fire till the paste boil and then reduce fire.
6) After the chicken pieces are fried, pour the remaining oil into the paste.Allow the paste to cook till a good smell comes and the masala is cooked properly.
7) Now add the chicken pieces. Add salt and close lid and keep till the chicken is cooked.
8) After a few minutes, pour the milk and tomato sauce.
9) Cook for a few more minutes and serve hot.
