Crispy Fried Chicken With Tomato Sauce

INGREDIENTS

* Water - 1-2 cups
* Chicken - 1kg
* Sliced Onion - 2
* Bay leaf - 3
* Cloves - 3
* Salt - to taste
For Sauce
* Oil
* Chopped onion - 1 or 2
* Green Chillies(chopped) - 2
* Ginger(chopped) - 2
* Tomato sauce - 1 cup
For Batter
* Cornflour - 1 cup
* Maida - 2-3tbsp
* Salt - to taste
* Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
* Milk - 1/2 or 3/4 cup
* Egg - 3/4 or 1
* Soda Powder - 1 pinch
* Pepper powder -

METHOD

1) Boil 1 kg chicken with water, onion, bay leaves, cloves, and salt. Cook it.
2) Saute onion, green chilli and ginger in oil. Add tomato sauce.After it boils and thickens, off the fire. If required add pepper powder and spring onions. This is the sauce.
3) Mix cornflour, maida, salt, chilli powder, milk and egg to make a batter. Add a pinch of soda and a little pepper powder.
4) Remove the chicken from water.
5) Dip the chicken in the batter and fry well.
6) Serve hot with sauce.
