Konkan Fish Masala

INGREDIENTS

* Fish- 1/2 kg
* Onion - 2
* Oil - 4 tbsp
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
* Onion - 1 (big)
* Chopped Onion - 2
* Coconut Grated - 1 1/2 cup
* Tamarind - 1 lemon size
* Pepper powder - 2 tsp

METHOD

1) Take the fish in a bowl. Add salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and pepper powder. Mix well with hands. Allow it to marinate for 10 min. Fry the fish peices.
2) To make the masala. Mix 1 1/2cup cocunut grated, 1 onion big, 1tsp peper and the tamarind. Mix all these in a mixie.
3) Put oil in a pan.
4) Put 2 chopped onion.Fry for some time.
5) Add 3tsp chilli powder. and fry for about 4 min.
6) Add the masala and mix well.
7) Add a pinch of salt.
8) Put in the fried fish and stir for some time (about 5 min).
9) Add 3/4 cup water and leave it on low fire for about 10 min.
