INGREDIENTS
- Mutton - 500 gm
- Onion sliced - 2
- Tomatoes - 4
- Fresh Coconut - 1/2
- Poppy Sees - 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 4-5
- Cardamoms - 2
- Cinnamon - 2 pieces
- Clovs- 4
- Ginger - 1/2 inch peice
- Garlic - 6 flakes
- Tamarind water - as required
- Vanaspati - 2 tbsp
- salt - to taste
- Water - 150 ml
METHOD
- Heat vanaspati in a nd roast poppy seeds, cumin, corinader, chilli, cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, garlic, coconut and onion. Grind into a paste.
- Heat remaining vanaspati. Add meat and tomatoes. Fry till meat is brown.
- Add masala paste , turmeric. salt and tamarind wter. Close and cook.
- Serve with rice.
