INGREDIENTS
- Mutton - 500 gm
- Onion(sliced) - 250 gm
- Tomatoes - 100 gm
- Curd - 100 gm
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Bay leaves -2
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon - 1 - inch Stick
- Cardamoms - 6 small
- Green Chillies - 2
- Garlic - 8 pods
- Fenugreek leaves - few
- Vanaspati -150 gm
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 1/2 cups
METHOD
- Clean and wash mutton.
- Grind ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Heat oil in a cooker. Pour a little oil and add the onions. Cook till they are golden brown.
- Add in the ginger-garlic-green chilli paste. Fry till the raw smell is gone.
- Add mutton, curd, tomatoes, fenugreek leaves, garam masala, chillies, turmeric powder and salt.
- Fry meat till the liquid dries up and continue to roast mutton for naother 5 min.
- Add water.
- Close lid and allow to cook.
