SHARSE CHINGIRI

Easy to make bengali favourite.

INGREDIENTS

  • Prawns (shelled & deveined) - 500 g
  • Mustard seeds soaked in water - 1 tbsp (15g)
  • Water - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • chilli powder - to taste
  • Thick coconut milk - 1/2 cup
  • Mustard oil - 2 tsp (10 ml)

METHOD

  1. Grind the mustard seeds with salt and chilli powder to a paste.
  2. Stir into the coconut milk ad marinate the prawns in tis mixture for 30 mins.
  3. Put the prawns into microwave-sage dish,cover and cook at 100% power for seve min stirring once. Stand for 3-4 min. Serve hot.
