SWEET AND SOUR PRAWNS

INGREDIENTS

  • Prawns - 20
  • Salt - to taste
  • Egg - 1
  • Pepper powder - 3 tsp
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Cornflour

I

  • Capsicum (cubed) - 1
  • Onion (cubed) -2
  • Carrot shredded - 1
  • Ginger Garlic (chopped finely) - 2 tsp
  • Celery chopped -
  • Oil

II

  • Sugar - 2tbsp
  • Vinegar - 4 tbsp
  • Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce - 3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 6 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  • Cornflour - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Water - 1 cup

METHOD

  1. Heat oil (5 tbsp) in a apan. Add ginger, garlic,onion, carrot, capsicum and celery.
  2. Stirt fry till half cooked.
  3. Mix the ingredients under II and add to the veg.
  4. Stir fry for a minute. Add cornflour mixed in water.
  5. Boil till it thickens.
  6. Add salt, fried prawns, and ajinomotto.
  7. Garnish with spring onions and pepper powder.
