Jeera Dhania Baghar

INGREDIENTS

  • Ghee or oil - 3-4 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder (dhania powder) - 1/2 tsp
  • Dried mango(amchoor) powder - 1/8tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped Coriander leaves - 2tbsp

METHOD

  1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Reduce flame.
  2. Add jeera. Fry till seeds turn golden brown. Do not burn them.
  3. Add dhania powder, amchoor and garam masala. Cook for 1/2 minute.
  4. remove from fire and add red chilli powder and coriander leaves. Mix well for 2-3 seconds
  5. Pour over the hot cooked dal. Mix gently.
