INGREDIENTS
- Ghee or oil - 3-4 tsp
- Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder (dhania powder) - 1/2 tsp
- Dried mango(amchoor) powder - 1/8tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Coriander leaves - 2tbsp
METHOD
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Reduce flame.
- Add jeera. Fry till seeds turn golden brown. Do not burn them.
- Add dhania powder, amchoor and garam masala. Cook for 1/2 minute.
- remove from fire and add red chilli powder and coriander leaves. Mix well for 2-3 seconds
- Pour over the hot cooked dal. Mix gently.
