INGREDIENTS
- Channe Ki dal(Split gram) - 1 cup
- Bottle Gourd (Ghiya) - 1/2 small (peeled and chopped)
- Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder (haldi) - 1/2 tsp
- Ghee or oil -2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tomato Onion Baghar
METHOD
- Pick, clean and wash dal.
- Mix dal, ghiya, salt, turmric powder, ghee, red chilli powder and 4 cups water in a pressure cooker.
- Pressure cook for 5 minutes on low flame after the first whistle. Remove from fire.
- Prepare Tomato Onion Baghar and pour over hot cooked dal. Mix gently. Serve hot.
