INGREDIENTS
- Malka Masoor (Red Lentil) - 1 cup

- Tamarind - 1/2 of a lemon sized ball
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
- Tomato Onion Baghar
METHOD
- Pick, clean and wash dal.
- Add 3 cups water, turmeric powder and salt.
- Pressure cook to give one whistle. remove from fire immediately.
- Soak tamarind in hot water for 5-7 minutes. Squeeze to extract pulp.
- Prepare tomato onion baghar.
- Pour tamarind extract into the baghar after it is ready. Boil.
- Pour the baghar into the hot dal. Mix. Serve hot with rice.
