INGREDIENTS
- Chopped pinach - 3 cups
- Arhar dal or tuvar ki dal - 1 cup
- Garlic (finely chopped) - 1
- Ginger(finely chopped) 1/2" piece
- Green Chilli (finely chopped) - 1
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Tomato Onion Baghar
METHOD
- Pick, clean and wash dal.
- Wash chopped spinach in plenty of water.
- Mix dal, spinach, ginger, garlic, ginger, green chilli, haldi salt and oil.
- Add 3 cups water to the dal.
- Pressure cook dal to give one whistle and then keep on low flame for 6-7 minutes. Remove from fire.
- Prepare Tomato Onion Baghar and pour over the hot dal. Mix gently and serve hot.
