Khatti Dal

INGREDIENTS


METHOD

  1. Pick, clean and wash dal.
  2. Add 3 cups water, turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Pressure cook to give one whistle. remove from fire immediately.
  4. Soak tamarind in hot water for 5-7 minutes. Squeeze to extract pulp.
  5. Prepare tomato onion baghar.
  6. Pour tamarind extract into the baghar after it is ready. Boil.
  7. Pour the baghar into the hot dal. Mix. Serve hot with rice.
